Information we collect

When you submit a lending concern, we collect the information you provide: borrower type, lender name, loan type, state, your description, any supporting document you upload, and your name, email, and phone number. We also collect information submitted through contact forms and newsletter signups.

How we use it

Intake submissions are used to inform CPCA research, borrower education, and advocacy. We publish only aggregated, de-identified findings. We do not publish lender names from submissions, and we do not sell personal information.

Document uploads

Uploaded documents are stored in private storage accessible only to authorized CPCA staff. Please redact account numbers and other sensitive identifiers where possible.

Retention and requests

You may ask us to access or delete your submission by contacting info@cpcaccountability.org.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate site usage.
